Emergency Response Day

On Tuesday, November 24, Jenkins White will host an Emergency Response Day.  The program will begin with a school-wide assembly and follow up with interactive exhibits.  The special guests will include the following Richmond County Emergency Agencies:  K-9, Fire Department, DARE, EMS, Dive Team, and other emergency response representatives.  Students will meet personnel from these agencies and learn of the work these agencies do to keep us safe.  2 K-9s, a boat and divers in wet suits, Smokey Bear, and an ambulance will all be at the school.  This program is being coordinated by Mark Bowen, Chief Deputy Coroner, Richmond County Coroner's Office.
